Despite the growing development of new technologies, ground systems (i.e. the common TV aerials on the roof of our house…) are not outdated yet.
This branch is actually constantly growing, mainly thanks to the new satellite systems, technically performing and good value. Today satellite systems have actually reasonable prices, and their installation and maintenance are not so expensive as in the past.
Internet connection via satellite.
Speed, high quality telephone line, reliability: these are the main features of the new broad band internet systems offered by different providers in Italy and in Europe.
The new digital internet world is easily accessible: you just need a standard satellite dish, a PC card and a modem connected to a suitable telephone line.
Centralized systems.
The evolution of analogical (and digital) satellite transmission systems requires a systematic centralization of all systems. Even radio and traditional TV nowadays use an analogical system, connecting sounds and light from a microphone and a camera through electromagnetic waves coming from aerials. The conversion process is obviously more complicated than this. In this case sonorous vibrations and light emissions (on different frequencies) must be transferred by means of the same electromagnetic channel at the same time. So we use different techniques, like the AM and FM, which can transmit more signals on a single transmission channel.
Through the use of a centralised system we can modernize and enhance our houses, respecting the environment and its laws. Moreover we can increase our services and rationalize the use of common spaces.
